A healthy smile for your Children.
The so-called fluoridation is also part of a complete prevention of healthy children’s teeth. Fluoridation protects the enamel, the outer part of the teeth, from caries. Acids contained in the food attack the enamel every day. It becomes porous, which means that bacteria can easily nest and spread in the attacked area. Inadequate dental care can quickly lead to tooth decay. Adequate fluoride intake and regular dental fluoridation as part of our prophylaxis program ensure adequate protection of the teeth against these harmful acids.
Depending on your child’s susceptibility to caries, we decide at what intervals fluoridation is useful and necessary. Brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste or using fluoridated table salt can also help protect your teeth.
However, you should also pay attention to an excessive fluoride intake, as this can lead to discoloration of the teeth.
Let us advise you individually to what extent you should feed your child with fluoride.
